Memory, register, pacing — three separate dials
Most complaints about generated chat are really complaints about pushing the wrong dial, or about not knowing there were three.
Memory in an ai sex chat app is a running summary, not a transcript. Recent exchanges are held closely, older ones are compressed into gist. That is why she remembers your job for weeks but occasionally forgets a detail from message nine — and why restating it once puts it back for good rather than being ignored.
Register is separate and immediate. Telling her to be shorter, meaner, slower or filthier changes the next reply, because the instruction sits in the same context her personality does. It is the fastest lever in the product and the one people reach for last, usually after deciding the app writes badly.
Pacing is the one you control by example. Long, detailed messages get long, detailed replies; three-word messages get three-word replies back. If the thread feels like a wall of text, the wall is usually being mirrored rather than authored.

Four instructions that fix most bad threads
Say “shorter replies” when it turns into an essay, “push back on me” when it agrees with everything, “stay in scene” when it starts narrating what it is doing, and name the detail again when it has clearly dropped out of memory. All four work from the next message onward.
None of that makes generated writing feel human on demand. It is improvised fiction with a co-writer that never gets tired and never gets bored of you, and the people who enjoy it most are the ones who treat it as exactly that rather than as a test the model is failing.
